Christmas Tree Sales
For over sixty years, a key fundraiser for the Waynesburg Lions Club has been the sale of cut Christmas trees. Trees are sold from the weekend after Thanksgiving through Christmas Eve at the lot on East Greene Street, across from the foot of Jasper Alley.
For 2011, tree sales will begin on Saturday 26 November and continue until all trees are sold or until Christmas Eve. Sales hours are 11a to 8p, seven days a week. Cut Douglasfir, Frasier Fir and Scots Pine trees will be available for purchase at prices from $30.00 to $60.00, depending on size. All profits from the sales benefit the Waynesburg Lions' charitable and community efforts.
